Welcome students

Hi everyone,

Welcome to CG2 for FOE! This is the blog that you will use to document your in-class exercises and your assignments for evaluation and comments.

First order of business:
1. The class schedule online is in http://pesona.mmu.edu.my/~neo.mai/cg2foe/index.htm. It is also on the MMLS, under Course Profile >> Course Outline.

Please go through it and familiarise yourself with the requirements of the class.

2. Please submit your blog URL in a comment form to me so that I may put you on the bloglist and we can monitor and comment on your work.

    Week 2 1st Tutorial

    An Intoduction:
    Hi! My name is Chin Weng Ping. You can call me Madam Lydia. Please introduce yourself and provide me your own blog address. Also, you will need to inform Dr. Mai your blog address at http://cg2foe.blogspot.com/.

    I can be reached at 013-6302508. My office is at R4049.

    Please use Mozilla Firefox to access your tutorial files at http://www.courseonline2u.com/ At the top of the homepage, click Hands on Tutorial. For Tutorial 1, you need to view 7 movies and follow the stated link at Tutorial No.01 to download the footage files.

    Note:

    1. If you have a class that ends at 9am in another building, please make sure that you inform your lecturer before class that you'll have to leave at 8:50am. This is so that you can make it on time for your next class at 9am.

    2. I prefer to use MMLS discussion board for communication purpose instead of receiving your email. I also using the discussion board to check your learning progress. If you have problem, write me at the discussion board and I'll reply as soon as I see your message.

    Hope you enjoy your learning in this class.

    Week 3

    2nd Tutorial, Notis & FAQ
    1. All your exercises footage files are available at the http://www.courseonline2u.com/

    Go to Tutorial No. 01, you can find it at the 3rd lines the following:

    "Footage Files for learning steps :
    please download and do unzip all files before you start learning through the tutorial session".

    You can find Ex 2 footage files at the following loacation:

    "please download and do unzip all images (3 images will be provided for this session). Follow as the step by step on video tutorial 1".

    The above sentence is under the Footage Files for Exercise Tutorial 1 :

    Your Ex 1 file is due next Friday on 27/2/09 during class time which ends at 11am.

    2. If you have finished your Ex 1, you can proceed on to Ex 2 (Due 6/3/09 during class time) or the rest of the exercises. Your exercises always due weekly.

    3. Your Assignment 1 is due March 6th. Next week in class, please show me your idea and your footage files.

    Week 4

    3rd Tutorial, Notis & FAQ:

    1. Your Ex 1 is due today. Please reply message within class time at the MMLS Discussion Board by stating the completion of your Ex 1 at your blog.

    2. Your Assignment 1 is due next week (6/3/09). Please inform your idea at your blog.

    I think as a project leader, you need to know Project Management. You need to do a Project Charter, so that I can consult your work. You can refer to your senior blog to get some idea:
